"Overall, a peaceful escape from the city. This is a great place to stay for hiking, nature walks, bouldering and river activities. It's near the station and some bus stops too. I really enjoyed the view from the window. The kitchen is small and there is only a microwave, but it was enough for me. There are no supermarkets or convenience stores nearby, but some local shops sell snacks and prepackaged foods. There is also a Chinese restaurant nearby with affordable food options. If you come...

"An amazing traditional Japanese inn in at the top of Mt. Mitake. Warm atmosphere, great views, and a pleasant staff helped make this one the highlights on my recent trip to Japan."

"建物は古いですが、清潔感があり、快適でした。奥行きのある作りになっていて、意外に広かったです。歴史的建造物で忍者屋敷のようで、子供が喜んでいました。外国人に好まれる雰囲気。1Fのカフェ兼団欒室も自由に使わせてもらえるので、滞在者が少ないときは家一軒借りれたようなお得な気分になれます。多摩川周辺のアクセスも良い。ここは無料駐車場がないので、コインパーキングの駐車場代を気にしなければいけない点がマイナスですが、それを補う利点が多いと思います。マスターも好感の持てる優しい感じの方でした。"

"Our 3rd stay for this trip. First start 7 nights single, 1 night double followed by trip to Lake Kawaguchi before returning for 4 nights double and super junior concert at Tachikawa. Convenient transport, free coffee and lovely staff."

"This was our second stay at this hotel in the last 2 years. It's an excellent hotel right next to a train station and many places to shop. I wouldn't consider staying anywhere else. Kawagoe is less crowded than Tokyo, but less than an hour on the train and you're in the heart of Tokyo. Staff is very attentive and efficient. My only complaint, is that the mattresses are extremely firm. I solved that issue on the second visit by bringing an inflatable air mattress. Problem solved! I hope to visit again, in the future."
