"This place was perfect for our stay - just a short drive to local restaurants, beaches and the golf course. It’s very very private even though close to the owners’ house. It’s compact but stylish with everything we needed. Comfortable bed, good hot water supply and the kitchen has everything for cooking but an oven. The little vege and herb garden was a nice touch and the outdoor bath tub was heavenly. We really enjoyed the views of Bream Bay and the countryside. Watching the local cattle moving...

"My partner, friends and I loved our stay at the batch. It has everything you need for an awesome kiwi summer. Lots of chairs, tables, gazebo, bbq, outdoor sink, games, HDMI for tv and all kitchen amenities. We had heaps of fun at the batch and going on daily excursions around the area. Greg was a kind and responsive host. Highly recommend this place for its affordability, amenities, set up and location! Would love to come back with family or friends one day. Thanks Greg!"

"We were impressed by the cleanliness of the cottage. On arrival we discovered tomatoes ripening on the window sill, scrummy fresh bread, a fruit bowl full of fruit, a selection of cereals, butter, jam, milk - to name a few. This is a wonderful place to escape to. It is quiet and peaceful, with huge views over the river and beyond.The only downside was no TV and no doors on the bedrooms, but that didn't worry us, and the reasonable price took this into consideration. Good wifi...
