"We had an amazing holiday here. The pool is huge and the gardens are beautiful with lots of shaded areas to sit and eat. Carmen was very helpful and friendly and made us feel welcome and gave us all the privacy we needed - the perfect host. A thoroughly relaxing time and a great location for exploring nearby towns like Braga, Aveiro and Porto. A wonderful place to stay!"

"This cabin is a beautiful 2 floor home with three bedrooms, 2 baths and comfortable living and dining areas. It is clearly a beloved retreat for the owner as there are many antiques and curiosities to be seen and enjoyed. There was a fireplace to use in the evenings, a very well equipped kitchen with full size fridge and gas stove. "The property has an attractive top floor and good seating outside and lovely views of the Douro. It’s billed as being ideal for families who want to holiday together but have their own space but this isn’t really the case. There are no facilities downstairs at all, no fridge, bin, kettle for example. So living separately isn’t possible. The pool is a good size and a lovely addition to the property. "On top of Porto being a great getaway spot, this rental was probably the best that I have ever stayed at. A truly brilliant renovation to a building with 4 impeccable rooms each with an ensuite. A great kitchen and common area as well as a private backyard. Fernando was a great host who pointed out all of the area amenities within steps of the front door. I would definitely recommend it to everyone. "

"The Yellow House was clean and comfortable. Paulo’s mother was lovely, greeting us and pouring us port to celebrate our arrival. She kindly showed us the basics of our place, and even walked us down the street to show us where to go and eat. Fado Portuguese was so close, great food, wine and live Fado. Be healthy and reasonably active…lots of hills to climb here, but so much to see."

"Francisco is very communicative and check in was simple. He had all the documentation ready and the apartment was in excellent condition. He had a list of sites to see and was able to coordinate tours and even breakfast. The unit itself is within walking distance of almost everything I wanted to see. I'd stay here again were I going back to Porto in the near future."
