"Everything was as advertised ,clean and functional. The host went out of her way to make sure that my experience was first class and it was. A big shout out to her neighbor who pitch hit for her When she hurt her leg. It’s very close to the train station maybe five minutes by car and it made the right into Douro very very easy."

While on the ground floor the common area suited the group well, everyone couple/family had its own room and space upstairs. "We spent a wonderful week in this lovely villa in August. Very well equipped and comfortable, and in a great location to explore the area - but note the roads are very windy and hilly so it can take a while to get places! The swimming pool is great with a fantastic view, and we enjoyed taking the kayaks out on the river. The owner Maria gave us some good tips on places to visit and made us very welcome. "We had a lovely time staying in this villa. The location is peaceful and quiet. Having a car is recommended to get about to places like Guimareas or Braga and the pool could be much deeper but other than that, we had an amazing experience! The host has superb communication and will help with whatever issues that may occur. The wine from their vineyard (Rosé and White) is very nice. I highly recommend."
