"Booked as a surprise for my partner. Arrived after dark which made it feel even more special as felt so secluded and added to the element of surprise. "We had a wonderful weekend in this shepherds hut. Sam was a great host, excellent communication before the stay and when we arrived. The hut was exactly as the photos depict on the website. "A perfect weekend escape pad. Superbly cosy shepherds hut. Absolutely loved the outside kitchen… even though it rained relentlessly on the night of our stay the kitchen and outdoor dining was such fun. Kitchen kit was plentiful and well thought out.. shame it wasn’t fire pit weather! However, we had the best time and look forward to returning before too long.. thank you for a great weekend stay."

"We booked Mary's wonderful house for a weekend away in December for a catch up with old friends (12 of us in total). We had an amazing time and really recommend the house. It has lots of character from being an old pub called The Star and the rooms were really comfy with almost all of them having their own ensuite bathroom.
