"Hostel El Refugio had all the comforts of home including a warm hearty breakfast every morning, comfortable beds with fresh linens in a private room, and private bathrooms. My visit was during fall when temps were colder. The hostel was always warm after a day outdoors. The owner Luis was very kind and accommodating, making sure you have everything for a perfect visit. "

"We made this our Homebase for four nights and had a great experience. The place is well kept and clean, and was quiet. Staff were great, the free continental breakfast was basic but hit the spot and the location was within a 10 min walk of restaurants, a grocery store and other essentials. The rooms are light on amenities but most folks don't seem to spending much time in there beyond sleeping and showering, so it works. The free drink on the rooftop was a nice surprise. Would recommend if you're looking for an affordable and comfortable spot. "

"The VEAT staff and owners were extremely helpful to me during my stay there. The hotel is in a great location - easy walking distance to the waterfront and restaurants. It was very clean and quiet, and I think it's the perfect place to stay in Puerto Natales. The restaurant next door is owned by the same family that runs the VEAT and is excellent!"
