"We would recommend a holiday at "Fern Lea" in Glaisdale. It is a very well organised and comfortable place to stay, winter or summer. The view from the front of the bungalow, across part of the North York Moors, is truly spectacular on a clear day. When we stayed we had the pleasure of brand new bed linen and towels. On-site parking for two cars is also a welcome advantage."

We loved the conservatory- kept beautifully warm by the kitchen range, though cooking with the range was tricky and we didn’t discover the microwave until the final day! "Really lovely apartment just outside the city walls. Spotlessly clean, really comfortable and with everything you need for a great stay. Little extras including, sourdough bread, butter, preserves, milk, coffee, tea, orange juice, cereals, chocolate , wine and a treat from Betty's all made it feel really special and that you are very welcome. The location was fab for easy access to the city on foot (we parked the car outside the house and didn't use it again until the drive home!), and the parking permit made it all very easy.
