"This was a tidy and well appointed basement 2 bedroom unit. The layout is a little unusual but it worked well. It was very clean, well presented and in a nice location. Has a very new feel to it. Communication with the property manager was excellent. "

"We arrived at night, and the unit was welcoming and warm. The beds are comfortable and we enjoyed our stay. Can i suggest some new pillows please? While the pillow cases and protective covers were good, the pillows themselves had seen better days and were flat and/or a bit lumpy in one instance. I would also suggest the tatty plastic table cloth be updated. Thank you for having us, your unit was just right for the three of us. Kind regards, Kaylene Young"

"Great property for our group of 2 adults and 4 teenagers. Lovely and clean, comfy beds with everything we needed for a wonderful weekend stay. We arrived a bit later than expected, so Helen put on the heat pump so it was warm and cosy for our arrival. Would definitely recommend."

"A great location - could see the Taupo sign from our balcony! It was such a cool little place and had a really spacious living area. We were very happy with our stay ☺️ I wouldn’t recommend for young children/babies that are crawling/ just walking however and there are steep stairs with no door/gate."

"We enjoyed our time at this accommodation. The bed was very comfortable and everything was nice and clean. It's compact, but absolutely fine for a few days, especially if you are spending most of your time out and about enjoying the city. As the sleepout is attached to the main house, you can hear the kids running around and having fun from time to time but it didn't bother us."

"We have stayed a few times at Quest Taupo and it is always good. Very easy parking even in a large vehicle and clean tidy rooms. The bed was a little uncomfortable however that is personal preference. Good location, can walk into town or to the lake fairly easily and once it is warmer im sure the pool is nice too.
