"Staff was very friendly and helpful for check-in during after hours. Place was really clean and nice, really worth the price. Coffee (good quality!) and water bottles are always available in the kitchenette. Breakfast included is from a restaurant downstairs and they have really good coffee and pastries. "Well kept room just outside of the main region of town - easy walking distance, and close to street parking (EasyPark Payment App), or to a parking station just around the corner (more expensive). Instructions to access the property were provided via whatsapp and were easy to follow. Airconditioning available as room was quite warm after a warm-ish day. "A very good conditioned apartment with functional facilities. The property is very close to the train station and is also within walking distance to the island. It’s next to the main road where main shopping can be done; including a big supermarket inside a department store. We had a good stay in the apartment and Siracusa. Will recommend it to anyone."

"The holiday home is ideally positioned to explore all of the beautiful towns east Sicily has to offer. We drove north to Taormina/Etna, south to Marzamemi and West to Modica and everywhere in between, all of which were reasonable distance drives. The hosts were first class, speedy communications and always willing to help, particularly in the first couple of days to get us sorted with a hire car and shopping, nothing was too much trouble. "Full of character (with a museum in the basement). Close to restaurants and other sights (the cathedral/museums etc...). Self catering in rooms is basic - better to eat out. About 120 Euro taxi ride from Catania airport. Reception is not 24/7 so arriving out of hours needs some advance planning. Reception staff are very helpful. Ortigia itself is tiny and you can walk everywhere. Don't forget your afternoon siestas. "
