"This place is unbelievably beautiful and wonderful. The hotel uses nautical flags instead of room numbers as a nod to the town’s history. The rooms are large, comfortable and tastefully decorated. The breakfast was a very good European style breakfast. What really makes this place is the staff. Albert checked us in and then gave us a brief history of the hotel and explained different sites around town. After walking around a bit, we promptly booked a second night. This will be my go to when coming to Viana do Castelo "

"We loved this property, everything about our stay was extraordinary. The property mangers ensured that we had everything we needed for our comfort throughout our stay. Both of our bedrooms were clean and comfortable and our kitchen as clean and well appointed. We had everything we needed. I also want to compliment Jena at the Supermercado, she was fabulous. I enjoyed meeting her, she was very helpful ensuring that all of our needs were met. Also important to traveling Americans and other english speakers, everyone speak very good English which was very helpful. We enjoyed our stay and hope to stay again on our next visit. Thank you. "

"This is a really fun place to stay. We stayed there as we were walking on the Camino Way and it was in a perfect location. The staff was great. They did not have an open restaurant, although they had a small dining area with a limited menu and were very kind to make us salads and quiches. If our feet hadn’t hurt so bad, we could have walked to several restaurants in the area."
