"Overall everything was good, but not having the heat on at all before a guest arrives is not good for a winter rental. It took 6-7 hours for the room to be warm enough to be comfortable. My wife had to use a hat, coat, and quilt to keep warm until after 10:00 the first night. We thought we might have to leave and go elsewhere."

I did have one minor misunderstanding with the owner regarding a beach cart; based on our messaging prior to our stay I believed we would have access to a beach cart, and we did not, which made hauling kids and gear to the beach more difficult.
