"My mom and I stayed here for one night during our trip along the coast. The outside appears as a typical motel, but inside, the rooms are hotel quality! Would highly recommended staying here. Very modern, clean, and safe. Balconies on each room look out into a private courtyard which would be great for kids. Across from the beach, about a 10 min walk down, so if your room is closer to the front , you can hear the waves at night. Fridge, microwave, and coffee maker, all in working order. Thanks for a great stay! "

"This hotel was perfection for what I was looking for. It was clean and comfortable with a beachy aesthetic. The check-in staff was lovely, offering me an upgraded room with an ocean view since I was traveling solo. The complimentary coffee and breakfast were impressive! Overall, the Sand Pebbles Inn was the perfect place to start my trip up the coast. Would definitely stay here again!"

"Comfortable stay. Bed and amenities were nice. My room had a fireplace. Close to Hearst castle. Would stay here again, except wouldn’t eat in the restaurant. Wanting to have the Hearst beef, I ordered a medium rare Hearst burger. It was well done. Sent it back but it came out well done again. Maybe order something they can’t overcook "
