"The Colton was a great property. It was comfortable, clean, and service was outstanding. The staff was all class. And we thought the location was good, not downtown, but most of what we do in not in downtown. There was a small hiccup that the hotel manager handled in an incredibly positive way. We were in Austin to visit our yong grandkids and they usually each spend a night with us at our hotel. "Very friendly and professional staff. Clean and well maintained. My room’s coffee machine did not work , so the on-site manager came within 5 minutes and relocated to another room, a great one. A bit expensive since only valet parking is available but I will say the money is well spent. Five star overall."
