"This really is rural. It is in the middle of a forest down an unmade road 2 km to nearest village. It is a beautiful location. Host are generous and welcoming. "The owner Jeanne-Claire is absolutely lovely and wants everything to be as easy, comfortable and relaxing as possible for her guests. She was so helpful and responsive every time we needed anything and it was a always a pleasure to chat and find out about the chateau and it’s history and the area. "Several items were broken, some terrible smells from plumbing, hornets nest somewhere in building, sun umbrellas useless, swimming pool dirty with lots of wasps around it that stung the children. Altogether, I was disgusted especially for what we paid"
