"The room was clean. The bed was a little too firm for my liking, but we were only there one night so it was manageable. Anything longer and I would have needed a foam mattress pad or something. Staff were very friendly. Breakfast was decent for a quick bite. Nice place for a low price. "

"Some of the property is in the process of being updated. We were warmly greeted and the staff is wonderful . Our room is clean; some stained and scratched furniture. The bed is very comfortable. Overall worth the experience and money."

"We absolutely loved this hotel. It is a Lark Hotel and we stayed at a similar one in Saratoga Springs. The staff, Carma, was excellent and the hotel was beautiful, with great atmosphere. It was walking distance to the downtown Portsmouth area and had ample parking. The breakfast was also delicious, all in all, a great experience. "
