"The front desk lady who checked us in was exceptionally kind and polite. Thank you for making it a pleasurable experience. The room was very clean with nice deco. We were on the 8th floor with open view overlooking the city. Quite noisy from the live band across the street but they managed to stop at 10pm. It is on every Friday night so better get a room away from that. "

"A very good standard of hotel, which we chose for its location for the University, however were pleasantly surprised by the level too. The restaurant for dinner was particularly good, with attentive service, great quality food and a good range of drinks available. The buffet breakfast was also good, with a decent range of quality options. We had a great night's sleep in comfy beds, with air-con and a reasonably well equipped bathroom."

Only gripe is there is no drink making facilities in the room, free coffee and tea is available near reception, just be nice to have the ability to make a drink in your room. Clearly it is a budget option and the standards obviously mirror this. Could it be better? Yes of course, but then it would be more expensive.
