"As a family of four with two teens, this place was perfect. Beds were comfortable, cabin was clean, the outside deck with a charcoal grill, (easy to light with some propane attached) firepit with supplied wood and access to Long lake with a cute little beach with a kayak. We explored Sebago Lake, (rented a pontoon boat) did the Songo River Queen riverboat ride (the 12p-2p is more informative, the later night one is more of a party boat). "An absolute 10/10. The property was beautiful, exactly as shown in the photos. A very nice and very quiet area, the property was very clean and well maintained. Loved the hot tub, the fire place, and the overall vibe of the house. Host’s guide was very helpful and the recommendations for local dining were spot on. My wife and I are already planning a return stay, would highly recommend and can’t wait to go back."

"We really enjoyed our long weekend at the cabin. Kitchen was well stocked with equipment and utensils, and the gas fireplace was cozy. Dock was a gorgeous spot for a late affernoon drink! Only consideration is bedrooms are tight and wouldn’t be good for those with mobility issues. Only suggestion to the hosts would be extra hand/dish soap (we used both sparingly since they weee nearly out and didn’t find others in the cupboards). Otherwise appreciated the hosts responsiveness. Recommend!"

"Overall, we had a great stay. There were some issues worth mentioning. We arrived at the house and there were no towels at all. The did deliver some bath towels and then had to come back the next day to deliver dish & hand towels. One night on our trip we woke up to no water and were told the well needed to refill. So we just didn’t have water for hours which really interrupted getting ready for our day. They did drop water off to drink but a shower wasn’t possible. Overall, we liked this...

"Incredible stay at black bear lodge. Perfectly nestled in the trees, the lodge had everything you could need and was very clean. The bedrooms were well appointed and the living space with the log fires in the lounge and kitchen were dreamy. We had a wonderful stay and communication was excellent the entire time.
