"Great welcome. Manager/owner he was at the entrance to welcome us in as we got out the car and offered to carry bags which was lovely. Asked if we needed breakfast but we didnt as heading off early. Quirky rooms but all well decorated and tea/coffee, ironing board. Had air con and fan as a top floor hot room so good was there already. Only a one night stop over but would definitely recommend/ return in the future."

"Yes we both enjoyed our stay at Somerville house..we stayed at the rear of the property with excellent views of the garden & beyond the town. The room was very good..bed very comfy & a great breakfast the next day .. The house also came with its own history of days gone by !!! Would definately go back there some time . "The B&B was a last minute booking to break a journey up. So glad we selected this property. The house was very well presented. Rooms had everything you could need including plenty of space. We opted for breakfast and that was excellent value. Despite the property being located next to a busy main road it was really well insulated for sound with very little to no disturbance. The area had lots of routes and walks plus the pub opposite was really hospitable for an evening meal and drink. "

"The type of home stay that Tom offers is one of the joys travelling, particularly as a solo walker. Tom is an excellent host and his cottage is beautiful. He has thought of everything to make his guests comfortable and as a walker I was very happy to have a soak in the bath and be offered laundry facilities. Thanks again Tom :) "

"The Guesthouse was in an ideal location to visit by foot the sites of Ludlow. Parking on the front. The host (Ray) was charming and helpful. Breakfasts were delicious. The room was large and airy with comfy bed. A small fridge with water and milk provided. I cannot fault it. "

"Situated at the end of a quiet lane with breath taking views of the countryside and the Black Mountains beyond, we were met by our wonderful host Sophie who welcomed us to her lovely home. Private entrance to the house, with everything you could possibly need, thoughtfully delivered to provide a very comfortable stay. Breakfast was delicious and the best I have had in some time. Sophie was knowledgable and super helpful, and lovely to get to know. Totally recommend staying."
