"Beautiful gem of a refurbished boutique historic hotel in the heart of downtown Dubuque. Super friendly and helpful staff, nice, big clean rooms, nice big bathroom, too. Only mild negative is no USB ports in room but management says they are coming soon. Stayed on a referral from a friend and was not disappointed! If you are in Dubuque, stay here and you won't be disappointed either!"

"Very nice and well stocked home with a huge yard to enjoy with our dog and appreciate nature. We saw deer several times each day along with all sorts of birds and other wildlife. Convenient location in town as well. "

"Nice place. Had trouble getting in, but after many, many tries and contact with the manager, we did get it to open. The bottom door to go out to the hot-tub had a broken deadbolt. We ended up removing the part and covering back up to be able to get in and out the door. Quite a bit of garbage laying around the hot-tub...beer cans, etc. Generally, it was a nice open area with nice bedrooms. Cupboards and drawers were nicely stocked. "

"My wife and I truly loved staying at the Aldrich House. The service was top notch!! Great conversations, great breakfast! Very clean and tidy! Owners went over and above to please. Also had a great happy hour in screen porch area. Richard and Douglas were the Bomb!! Would definitely like to do again soon."

"We stayed here to be close to the river as we planned to ride up and down the Mississippi and enjoy its mighty beauty. We loved that the unit had an attached bathroom on all four bedrooms. Everyone in our group appreciated the privacy. It is located in a cozy wooded area surrounded by other nice houses and golf courses.
