"Located in the old town of Durlach, we had free parking on the street every night, right near the hotel. I've never been in a hotel where everything in the mini bar is complimentary ! Beer, water, soda, coffee, was free of charge, Prima! if you choose to decline housekeeping, they give you a 5 Euro gift card each day to spend at the bar. Nice touch. "Lovely traditional German hotel with delicious food in a beautiful setting on the edge of the woods where you can spend hours walking and hiking. Our room may be been considered a mini suite, as it contained a very spacious sitting area as well as a balcony. "Run by a lovely young family, this place is a veritable retreat. We got a balcony room over the river and it was worth it. You can see the covered bridge, stars, and the church overlooking the property. The beds are extremely comfortable. The breakfast is nice.
