"Lovely traditional German hotel with delicious food in a beautiful setting on the edge of the woods where you can spend hours walking and hiking. Our room may be been considered a mini suite, as it contained a very spacious sitting area as well as a balcony. We enjoyed the gourmet restaurant very much (reservations needed) but even the regular restaurant was delicious. "Arrived late to find the check in not working, a German speaking guest tried to ring, but it seems that no one was willing to help. No telephone numbers available to call for help. Luckily to system started to work after a while, surely it is possible to employ a member of staff to work overnight to deal with situations like this, and in event of fire!!"
