The cabin was clean and cozy, and the woodstove was the perfect touch. Being able to explore private trails with our dogs was the best part of the trip - the lookout trail is STUNNING!! The porch was a great spot to watch ducks and loons in the morning and sit in the sun. The cabin was well stocked (kitchen items, linens, firewood, games) and was a great spot for a lazy day too. Would recommend to anyone to listen to John's directions exactly...dont trust your gps(although we found Google Maps and Waze to work perfect)..the cabin is on a dead end private road in the mountains...our friends found that apple maps sent them down a snow mobile trail, luckily a wrecker was able to get to them and tow them out.
