The area is beautiful, the cabin was warm and comfortable even in the middle of january once i had the woodstove going, very nice quiet area. You won't see a single person anywhere near the cabin, it was pretty secluded and extremely private, but still reasonably close to some small towns. "Rented the place in mid-oct for a second-marriage honeymoon. The place was easy to find and was set up perfectly for a two person cozy stay. House faces the sunset and has a deck and sitting porch. Brought my little boat and the boating access is across the street. We had zero issues. We would definitely come back!! Definitely worth it. 👌 "

"Had a great Long weekend here with my Fiancé and our Best Friends. Great Property. It snowed all weekend and we were happy to be “stuck” in the cabin. Hanging out in the hot tub, grilling good food and chilling being warm by the fire. Honestly would recommend just bringing a bunch of food to stock the fridge and hanging up the keys for the duration of your stay. We brought an Xbox for some streaming and gaming during our lazy weekend. Played board games and cooked every meal. Great time. Great...

"Had everything we needed, quiet and scenic spot to explore the lake, state park, fall color, and northern lights. The porch was a great spot to watch ducks and loons in the morning and sit in the sun. The cabin was well stocked (kitchen items, linens, firewood, games) and was a great spot for a lazy day too. Megan was very responsive. Thank you for a wonderful stay!"

"My husband and I stayed for the first time at Steel cabin this weekend as part of our annual fall trip up north. The location was very close by to everything we wanted to do, and the views from the property were outstanding!! The hosts were super nice and wrote to offer an earlier check in time as the cabin was ready early. Very clean throughout the cabin...the shower and all appliances looked brand new. "Loved it! The isolation is exactly what we needed. I enjoyed keeping the wood stove going and checking on the solar and generator personally. Would recommend to anyone to listen to John's directions exactly...dont trust your gps(although we found Google Maps and Waze to work perfect)..the cabin is on a dead end private road in the mountains...our friends found that apple maps sent them down a snow mobile trail, luckily a wrecker was able to get to them and tow them out. Endless trails and forest...

"The kitchen is beautiful with plenty of room for guests to hang out. Tons cookware, plate ware, etc. Two new coffee makers and kettle. Also, a big beautiful grill all ready to be fired up. Unless you are an extreme cross country or wildness skier, the ski in/out was not useable. We drove to the mountain. The chalet is every bit as spacious as pictured and well worth the price. "
