"Rented the place in mid-oct for a second-marriage honeymoon. The place was easy to find and was set up perfectly for a two person cozy stay. House faces the sunset and has a deck and sitting porch. Brought my little boat and the boating access is across the street. We had zero issues. We would definitely come back!! Definitely worth it. 👌 "

"We were looking for a cabin stay for a little getaway and were thrilled with the Spruce Cabin! Walking in, it immediately smelled great and was so clean. We had great communication with the innkeepers who were so kind, helpful and thoughtful! The kitchen had everything we needed and we loved the bed! There were extra little touches everywhere that made this a phenomenal experience! Owen and Haley were the innkeepers on site but I also spoke with Bill and everyone was great. Can’t wait to book...

"Gwen and Larry were excellent hosts from start to finish! The property was everything as described, plus more. The communication with the hosts were direct and speedy with responses, an attribute that made our weekend even more enjoyable! From the cute landscape surrounding the cabin, to every aspect inside that was available for us. I look forward to hopefully making more trips back to this quaint destination for an escape from the hustle of Jersey!"

Wires were cut leading up to the hut (they said it’s been like that for 6 years but how would we know that?) and the lock was broken/tampered with so that it wouldn’t lock at all. "The property was great for our group of 4. Kitchen was well equipped, although toaster needs replacement. Bathrooms had lots of towels and dove soap/shampoo/conditioner. A few things we could have used were scissors and kleenex. The shower drains do need a cleaning as they filled up while showering to cover our feet and drained very slow. We did have an issue with beeping on our last night. It was a water sensor telling us there was a leak under the sink. We weren't sure how to shut the sensor...
