"Lovely hotel, quiet location, large gardens. Friendly helpful staff. The swimming pool/ sauna/ steam room were in good condition. We didn't try the hotel restaurant for dinner, instead opted for a nearby pub in Wotton. Breakfast buffet was quite extensive with English breakfast and cereal/ yoghurt etc. options. Only downside with breakfast for us was the limited choice of fruit - actually there wasn't any with the exception of some dried fruit pieces. Would come again though despite the fruit shortage!"

"We stayed here for one night and it was lovely. Parking and check in was quick and easy. Room was clean and had everything needed including a great tea tray selection and lovely toiletries to use. We enjoyed a few drinks at the bar too and service was good. The location is great for walking in to the town centre, no more than minutes walk, would definitely stay again if we go back to Guildford. 😊"

"Really good value stay in a beautiful country house full of history. We loved our room .. particularly the huge bed , which was in the main house. We ate dinner in the bar ( the restaurant menu was a bit too sophisticated for me!) and our burgers were delicious. The breakfast was very good indeed .. best scrambled eggs I have eaten! Best of all was exploring and gazing at the beautiful grounds. It was so peaceful and relaxing. A wedding was going on .. looks like a great wedding venue. "

"The staff were really good! Booked us in for breakfast when we arrived which meant that we didn’t have to pay 4 adults (if we had to book online) for 2 adults 2 children. 2 Hot tubs were available but no jacuzzi, that was drained but no bother. The spa facilities were great. Pool wasn’t the warmest to start with but if you were in and moving it’s perfectly fine. No complaints from us or the children! Plenty of people swimming when we were in. Food was tasty and service was quick and attentive. Room was clean and modern. No complaints. Thanks for a great stay!"
