"I would like to have given 5 star for service as when we ordered food from the bar the staff were attentive, polite and very friendly and couldn’t do enough for us. However earlier in the evening I called the restaurant from the room to book a table, when I had only said hello I was met with a very abrupt ‘the line is terrible’ to which I stated ‘I’m sorry I’m calling from one of the phones in the rooms’. I then proceeded to request a table and again very abruptly told we have nothing until 8.30/8.45. I really felt like it was too much trouble and didn’t feel welcomed at all. I booked the table initially for 6 people, we were I fact part of a lager group of around 20 people staying at the hotel for an event we were attending the next day. Having spoke to the other people in the party we decided against it and ate from the bar instead. I would not recommend anyone to book to dine at the restaurant based on this encounter. Also may I add that most of the tables were not occupied from around 7pm until the time we were told we could eat from so I don’t understand why we couldn’t get a reservation either. Very disappointing experience. "

"Stayed in a superior room.Lovely stay at a beautiful hotel , All the Staff were excellent. The rooms were cleaned to perfection. Meals including breakfast couldn't have been better. Plenty of parking and lovely walks. All out time there we NEVER had disturbing noise from other rooms, perfectly quiet. The ONLY let down was the Pool was closed due to refurbishing. Should be lovely next time. I would highly recommend this hotel ."

"Fantastic location and very well managed from reception to food hall . The guys who were on the food hall were extremely professional in there manner and cleanliness, immaculate dressed with a touch off class in how they managed each table with kind politeness "

"Very much enjoyed my stay here. Travelling alone this time, so wasn’t in one of the larger rooms. It had everything I needed though. Particularly appreciated the friendly staff on reception and the availability of some parking. Would be very happy to stay here again. "
