"Lovely stay. There were a few little details that didn't spoil our stay but were noticeable like minor repairs needed, soap empty in bathroom and not all pre-ordered items were made available. Would still recommend for a good value stay. Lots of places to eat and drink in area so we didn't try bar/restaurant. "

"I returned to the hotel as it's convenient for Basingstoke and in a nice setting. The beds are comfortable and they have different pillows to suit your needs. The hotel was generally clean although the shower could use a deeper clean around the edges."

"Wonderful stay in a lovely old building, very good big room. Stairs were interesting but as they were several hundred years old and the staff were good in helping with our bags it added to the fun!"

"All the members of the staff that we met were pleasant and helpful. Special thanks to reception, breakfast waitress and lady cleaning member of staff for leaving her work and escorting us to the lift. Great breakfast."
