"Good place to stay. Quite close to route of travel between England and Scotland. Aldi, Petrol station, washing machines, restaurants all around the accommodation. Excellent communication with Joanne for checking in. There is a handy small shared kitchen on the ground floor."

"Exceptional hospitality. Staff were particularly friendly and attentive. Location suited us - not too far from Durham city centre, but particularly convenient for our visits to Beamish and Tanfield Railway. Room was clean and well-appointed. Food was amazing! Superb breakfast with good choice. Dinner menu was unbelievable (not available on Sunday evening. Highly recommended."

"Great stay at Stay Coastal. Team was great with help getting checked in. While check in on hotels.com says 3 the hotel says it is 4pm so plan accordingly. They were very kind letting us check in at 3 instead as I had a call to be on which was very kind. Super great stay in a great neighbourhood close to the metro. Would highly recommend for anyone staying in the area. "

"What a lovely place to stay. All self service but received on point instructions from Dave. We stayed in Room 6 and it was really nice. I would only ask for bigger towels and firmer pillows. There is on site parking which I would say allowed 2 cars if people parked right. Location was good too, not far from beach "
