"The cabin was exactly what we expected! The bed was comfy and the fireplace/hot tub combo made our stay even more relaxing. The check-in process was clear and the address was easy to find. I would caution you spend a little while on some pretty twisty roads getting to the cabin. I’m comfortable with that type of driving, but I’m glad we decided to get settled in before exploring so we weren’t travelling the roads for the first time after sunset. "The cabin is beautiful, the views are stunning and the host was wonderful to work with. Check-in was easy with prompt communication from the host and you can tell that they put a lot into the place to make it feel like a home away from home. The game machine in the loft was unfortunately broken (bummer for the kids) and the kitchen equipment left much to be desired (dishes were dirty and had to be washed before use and cookware and silverware were very sparse). "We come to Ponies in the Smokies every year in March. This is our second stay at Carden Cabin & both stays have been excellent. It’s a beautiful cabin in a peaceful setting. There’s a pack & play & a baby gate in the master bedroom/bathroom closet, plenty of dishes in the kitchen if you want to cook. Local Eatery is just up the road & has good food if you want something close by. We would stay again & definitely recommend Carden Cabin for a great vacation rental."
