"Overall this was a good stay. The riverfront, Cockburn’s & a fantastic Fado restaurant is within easy walking distance Our choice of room was double-booked & we were given the larger house. The ac had been turned off because the nights were cool. The problem was the day was very warm & the house was stuffy and we were told that we couldn’t leave the door open. The owner turned the ac on later in the night & it was very pleasant afterward."

"We have a large family consisting of married couples and some with children and so we offered it is an open house to arrive and depart when you want over the three weeks that we hired the property in August and it did not disappoint. "Lovely breathtaking views and nice modern amenities made for a great stay. Responsive and friendly caretaker let us in and replied to questions immediately. Quite secluded and peaceful and about 25 minutes from Regua. Typical country roads to reach it required careful driving. It was a nice base to come home to after a long day of sightseeing, relax and enjoy the evening"

"The room was really just a bedroom in a house, but was very comfortable. The only real issue was in the shower-room as it was impossible to sit on the loo normally as the shower cubicle was so close. You really need binoculars to see the sea. The garden was rather untidy as there was some building work going on. Breakfast was excellent & Pedro was a very friendly host. The actual location of the house wasn't very attractive but don't worry, when you go around the back it's much nicer."

"We absolutely loved our stay. It was cosy and clean at a good location near restaurants and bars. We barely needed to use any form of public transportation. Amenities were good - the bottle of wine was a nice touch. We were able to store our luggages after check out. Veronica who runs the place was super responsive with any questions we had. Overall no complaints. If there was one thing that we had to fault - it would be no full length mirrors. But this is a really minor point"
