"One of the best experiences ever! Such a beautiful place with a garden, tea ceremonies, traditional rooms with a private onsen, comfortable and warm futons. Natalie, translator and hotel staff, was amazing to us, so kind, attentive and welcoming, she went above and beyond for us. We were very happy with our experience, especially having a private onsen facing the garden. It was fun to try traditional food for dinner and breakfast and to wear Japanese yukata and pajamas. We are so greatful for this place! Thank you so much"

"For the price this was more than worth it. Excellent location 2 mins walk to Omicho market and many buses to the train station, the various chaya districts and Castle. Breakfast buffet was varied and plentiful. As typical with most Japanese bathrooms, there is a powerful shower and YES it has the latest TOTO !! (you will know what I mean if you’ve been to japan LOL)"

"The hotel smells really good when you walk in. It’s spotless. I had booked a larger room meant for four and it was beautiful and quiet. They give you very nice amenities and the public bath is a great plus. I woke early and it was empty both mornings. The staff is helpful. The pajamas are nice. I would stay here again and rent the big room. If you are vegetarian there is no breakfast option. "
