"The hotel was particular about certain rules, but there were no issues with the property if you followed the instructions. The property wasn't the cleanest, but that is more due to the age of the property rather than the staff not cleaning, which they were diligent in doing. All in all a fine stay, no major issues or complaints."

"I was given a single room as requested but I asked to move as the noise from the hallway was just too bad. The door didn’t close well and I could hear the people in the hallway incredibly well to the point it sounded as it there wasn’t even a door in the way. The room was also unfinished and had wires hanging out of the ceiling. When I got moved into a dormitory room it was like being moved into a different hostel. The room was clean and quiet. A really upgrade! A fantastic hostel for groups....

"If you love a cold concrete slab you'll be in heaven, just if you can manage to not need wifi unless you enjoy the locals smoke area and can get the job done in a quick manner before you join them. At least the washrooms are kept up and are mostly modern models"

"A hotel i've stayed at many times. Good value, decent sized room. Sometimes noisy guests but they provide earplugs. Free drinks and shaved ice in the lobby, and the area around it is a bit rowdy but lots to see and do, right next to the Tennoji zoo and Tsutenkaku tower, also right near a very convenient train station and subway station! If you don't mind the area(it's safe, but quite a bit of homeless people) it's a great place to stay!"
