"We stayed 3 nights at Zanzibar, for our lab retreat - 16 (neuro)scientists from London who were looking for a nice place to hang out, cook, drink, bind and talk science. Zanzibar did not disappoint! it's an amazing place to chill and have fun. Kitchen is fully equipped, rooms are set tastefully and beautifully, the common area has plenty of space to cozy up in big or small groups, and hot tup was a bonus. Location is great too -- short walk to the train station, a pleasant walk to hiking paths...

"The property was nice and clean and as advertised. What made the experience very special for my wife and I was the interaction with the property owner Nick and his partner as well as his family. They were kind enough to arrange for us to have a chef cook for us all three nights of our stay which was wonderful.
