"We enjoyed staying at Lyndale House. The house was very clean and we all loved having our own room with ensuite.The beds were really comfortable. There was a very well equiped kitchen with many basic ingredients provided. The house was really well located at the bottom of the Main Street. The only negative for us was having no where outside, at the house, to sit and enjoy the beautiful weather. This would not be an issue if the weather had not been so good!"

"This is a very nice property for exploring Yorkshire. Plenty of space, excellent service by manager Lisa...who lives very nearby, and very close to Helmsley, York etc., small but very adequate groicery very nearby, great coffeee shop virtually across the street (not open ..I think..Monday and Tuesday), and plenty of restaurants in the area. Overall, and bear in mind we are used to US accomodations, this is exactly what I think you'd expect, with all that you need ...the owners have a great place...

"The property is super clean, well equipped and very quiet area. It is homely with every little detail thoughtfully presented. Communication with owners is quick and friendly. We couldn’t find DVD player but Netflix, Amazon prime and Wi-Fi are superb. "
