"Liked: Clean, quiet, inexpensive. Great staff and service. Hot chocolate and coffee machine for any time of day. Lovely showers and great smelling soap. Comfortable fresh beds. Has Big Stop diner right around the corner. Disliked: Bathroom sink was outside the bathroom, so no privacy if you're brushing your teeth for example. We didn't mind. Not much to see or walk around the area, just highways. Overall we were impressed by the place. It was a comfortable stay for a fair price. We would definitely book again."

"Wonderful stay at The August House! Our renovated room was comfy and cosy and the bathroom was gorgeous. Loved the thoughtful touches throughout the house including ice cream sandwiches in the kitchenette fridge! The hosts were super friendly and welcoming. Highly recommend and would definitely stay again! "

"We stayed here for 1 night, beautiful view of the bay of Fundy. We were travelling with our 2 yorkies, so we really got our exercise, we were on the 3 floor, no public elevator so a lot of stairs, property was lovely. "
