"We had a great long weekend stay over Easter at the cottage on the lake. Welcoming from the beginning, the house only got more welcoming around each corner. The owner even surprised us all with Easter specific decor. Property is well kept. We enjoyed wetting a line in the lake, the grill, and the beautiful deck. "

"The property is very clean (other than the carpet in some areas), well furnished and organized. The equipment they provide for outdoor sports and play are excellent. The lake views throughout the house are amazing. There are lots of very clean windows! The multiple sitting areas are comfortable. One bedroom has only one tiny underground window, so the room is dark. Bathrooms are kind of dated. It’s right in town, but the neighborhood is quiet and the lake is beautiful, so it doesn’t feel like...

"Stayed for 3 nights to visit family over Christmas.The house was tastefully furnished and clean, well supplied with essentials.Only negative was a very loose back door railing which possed a safety issue with the snow and ice on those days."

The owner is very easy to communicate with and very accommodating. If you need to stay in Amherst this is the place to stay! Every little detail from the furnishing to the surroundings is excellent. "We enjoyed the game room, golf carts, hot tub and fire pit area. We just wanted to hang out and be together and the house worked perfectly for what we were looking for. "

"Our entire family was very happy with this home. The house is adorable and seems bigger than what the description states. All your needs are met all the way from toiletries to recreational items. I feel that the hosts are generous with what they supply. The house is on a quiet street and the lake view is awesome. Nichole was great with communication and making sure we were comfortable. Plus, this house has a boat lift and those were very hard to find when searching for a vacation house. "
