"We went with friends for the weekend of January 19-21. The house doesn't reflect this from the outside, but once you get inside, you will be amazed. Clean, well-kept. We really recommend it. Behind the house there is a beautiful view of the river. When the weather is nice in spring or summer, you won't want to stay inside but outside. Even though it's right next to the road, you can't hear cars at all because they don't drive very often. I hope that we will be able to come there again soon and...

"We had a great time at Upstate Betty- the house has a great layout with lots of space to work or curl up with a book, and is a short drive to some great restaurants and hiking. We were there at a very cold time and the house was pretty drafty, but the 2 fireplaces helped a lot."

"Really nice and perfectly located house for a ski getaway weekend. The basement has plenty of games and activities to pass the time. there was also a fireplace inside and firepit outside. Plenty of beds and bathrooms too, which is good for a group of friends. We really enjoyed our stay!"

"Phil was a wonderfully responsive host and keeps a well-stocked, warm and cozy cabin with all the necessities (and many fun extras like games and a record player) at his guests' disposal. The location was great, with some amazing dining within convenient driving distance, and of course, access to Belleayre. "Our stay at Windswept Cottage was great! The Windswept Cottage was comfortable for our group of 5. The bathrooms and bedrooms were spacious, and the kitchen was well stocked. During our stay, there was a city-wide power outage that lasted for most of the day. Our host kept us up-to-date on when the power would be restored and provided lanterns and options to make our stay more comfortable such as recommending dinner at the neighboring town which had gas and power. "Plenty of room to enjoy meals and games with friends after a ski day. Belleayre is 3 miles down the street so very convenient. The house was stocked with all necesseties and the owner and property manager were super attentive!"
