"This beautiful home is absolutely perfect. Do yourself a favor and book it now! The owner/host has thought of everything, but should you need anything at all, he is on-site. There are several charging stations with USB and USBC ports. Appliances are new, beds are super comfy. The neighborhood is stunning and completely safe. We would absolutely stay here again!"

However, several appliances (toaster was there but the parts were missing, washer making banging sounds during use,etc.) were broken and/or unusable, walls and furniture looked worn and in many cases dirty - we found stains on the sofa cushions (unclear whether they had been cleaned) + stains on the bedding which were only partially cleaned- and it was difficult to get anyone to respond to concerns. "This was the best VRBO / rental experience I’ve ever had. The apartment was as exactly describes with everything you could need. Couch bed with a trundle was perfect for 3 little kids with a super comfortable queen bed for us. Great shower and water pressure. Ample towels for the entire week. Perfect location to be within walking distance of the sights and museums and local restaurants. Would definitely stay here again next time we’re in DC!"

"This property is located on a residential street, in the heart of the city. The neighborhood is active and vibrant. We were able to walk to the National Mall as well as shops and restaurants. The apartment is brightly decorated, and feels spacious. The bed is very comfortable. A spa experience best describes the bathroom. The outdoor space has a large deck and charming back yard. We would definitely return for a future stay."

"It was a great stay. I travel for work and have long days so it was almost like coming home each day, even to my dogs! I was so comfortable the whole time. Terry was so friendly and hospitable and even left treats for the dogs. Many places say “dog friendly” but they truly mean it. I didn’t feel the need to worry at all about them while I was out working during the day. He even suggested a pet store and restaurants. I’ve already re-booked for future work trips. Overall a wonderful “homey”...

"The high level is the location.The place is large, with good temperature control.Some things could be easily improve, such basic supply in kitchen, like a cutting board.But the real thing you need be concerned is about de noisy, we dont now what happen but people up star looks like march, drag furniture, overthron things intil 2 a.m. especially in the room area."

"This was a wonderful place, and Wayne was a wonderful host. He had a cheese plate awaiting us for our anniversary and was always quick to reply and suggest activities around town. The apartment was small and cozy, just as described. The bed was pretty soft, but I like it that way. We felt safe here day or night out walking from the Metro Station that was a little over 500 feet away and VERY CONVIENENT! Overall A++"

"Great overall place for the price. Rooms are fairly small but still bigger and more comfortable than a hostel or capsule hotel. All room controls are done via iPad which makes it very easy to use. Staff are friendly and always greet you as you go in and out. There's also a security guard so it was very safe. It's also located right next to the NoMa-Gallaudet U station so it's easy to get from one place to another. Being located right next to Union Market and shopping (walking distance) is a huge plus as well. Was also very quiet and clean. Few minor gripes: -The floor in my room was creaking a fair bit and the toilet stopped working once (though that was fixed very promptly) -The iPad controls feel a bit wonky, and also means not all the physical buttons in the room (light controls on the wall, etc.) do not work perfectly. For example, you cannot turn on the wall lights while keeping the main light off and there's a limit on how bright or dim you can make things. -The shower is fairly small due to the curved glass. If you're a bit on the tall side like me it will make taking a shower is a bit uncomfortable. -Also be warned: the beds here are ALOT firmer than what you would expect in a normal hotel. First night was really rough when it came to sleep. For me, only the very firm bed was a big issue, otherwise I'd say CitizenM is a great brand and place to stay. Will definitely try to book this place when I come again. "
