"The State Room was a nice place to stay. The neighborhood is residential, with a nearby renovated mill that contains a local brewery about 2 blocks away. The neighborhood begs to be explored for the local businesses and historical buildings. Parking is on the street. The neighborhood is to fairly quiet except for a small local tavern that closes at 1:00 am. But the neighborhood is quiet in less than hour. I would definitely stay again."

"Normally, I rent a large house with two or three couples; but this year we decided to take a last minute trip to MV for the Labor Day (2024) weekend. I was pleased to find a place at such short notice and at a reasonable price. This place did not disappoint! It is brand new, had everything that we needed; including a washer and dryer, beach chairs, and linens. We were close to downtown Vineyard Haven. We were sorry we didn’t have more time to spend there, but would definitely come back again....

"We were pleasantly surprised by the ground floor apartment at Paula's place. The check-in process was easy and Paula was quick to answer questions. Paula's place is squeaky clean AND dog-friendly! Although we did not cook, there is everything there anyone would need who wanted to take advantage to the abundant seafood and traditional Portuguese foodstuffs available in New Bedford. "We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in this quaint and welcoming property. It was a perfect location for our time in Newport, just 15 minutes from the beach. Phil was an excellent host, incredibly responsive and attentive. Very comfortable beds as well. We’d stay there again. "

"Stayed up here for a wedding in October 2024. Easy in and out with the key lock box and number keypad on the outside door. Love the parking lot next to the house. It's quite large. The kitchen has a weird layout. The sink is all the way down near the wall. It's a nice place to stay. Would come back for sure if I had another reason to be up in Bristol, RI. "
