Arrival and check-in was seamless, with the host allowing us to get in an hour early due to some previous plans in the area. Our two college kids enjoyed having space to spread out, and even met local friends at Mark Anthony’s right next-next door. "I brought my bf here for his birthday and what an amazing stay we had! The location is phenomenal. Just a few blocks from the main strip with all the things you need to experience Newport. The place itself was very clean and inviting. Beautiful decor and modern upgrades. The bed was very comfortable and the house was well stocked. The host was extremely communicative and accommodating. Honestly one of the best vrbo’s we’ve stayed in. I highly recommend staying here if you’re in town. "

"Very sweet place for short-term stay. Once on the island, owner was very communicative. The listing is accurate - if you want to cook meals, keep in mind that there is no stove, hot-plate, or toaster, so it worked for us for a weekend (although would have loved a toaster!) The only reason for the 4 stars on cleanliness was because there was a pair of socks from previous renter left in the bathroom, but otherwise clean! In the unit, the kitchen and living room were nice and spacious, as pictured. Most convenience items were supplied. However, we were disappointed with the pervasive mildewy old house smell.
