"I concur with some "recent" reviews prior to ours that our overall ck in was less than expected based on extensive reviews before we booked. The female front desk staff was very flat handed us the key with really no welcome or info about anything in hotel. In "writing" from Expedia we showed a booking for a room with a balcony/city view in which the staff indicated we did not have a reservation? We booked 3 mos in advance. Either Expedia misrepresented this info on there website or the hotel denied us what we paid for which I will take up with Expedia.Our room did have a city view only no balcony. I could nickpik minor things but ultimately the room was clean.We never went back down and dealt with front desk again until ck out. Now what saved this hotel from a low rating was the downstairs breakfast staff and how delightful and attentive they were to all. The selection and variety of all options of food had a wonderful presentation and they worked very hard to keep everything clean plus they were engaging. A special shout out to Rosita whos personality shines and made our experience delightful every morning. Location a plus, safe area and clean."

"Great staff-not in your face but always there if needed. Very clean, I thought. I liked the charm and character of the older parts of the hotel. I didn’t eat breakfast there or any meals, but did have a drink in the bar and that was pleasant with attentive service. This hotel is very close to transportation, local bars, shops and a couple of good restaurants- the Korean place (more or less next door) was great as was a pizza place round the corner. I would definitely recommend this hotel and would come back here, too. I really liked it. "

"This property is located only 5 minutes from the Schonbrunn Palace. You can catch the Hop on Off buses from Schonbrunn. Loved the property itself and the breakfast was good. Parking is located under the hotel."

"Staff are friendly , near the train station , and other public transportation there’s resto and a convenient store near everything is perfect ! Very clean and the breakfast is great! "

"Great stay for the value. Close to the train station. There are just lots of construction outside but it’s not terrible. There aren’t many restaurants near by as you’re a little bit outside of the city centre but the rooms were spacious. The staff were also extremely friendly and helpful, especially Mari. "
