"The lodge was amazing, everything you could possibly need and more. Great quality furniture and fittings. Extremely clean and a sumptuous king bed. Very comfortable lodge. "A gem of a cottage which had been restored to a really high standard. Comfy beds, well equipped kitchen, log burner with plenty of wood and loved all the decor/pictures throughout. A welcome basket with local goodies was also a nice touch. We loved the folder full of the history on the property and all the pictures of the other houses/buildings in the village which we went to find on our walks with our dog. Would highly recommend. "

Andy enjoyed doing a bit of fishing at the lake, catching a good sized carp, whilst I enjoyed walking around it with the dog. "Absolutely beautiful accommodation, the pool, outside dining area, in fact all of the grounds are magnificent. Marie and Ian are amazing hosts, warm, kind, great sense of humour. Stayed in deluxe studio apartment it was nice to sit on chairs instead of bed to watch tv. Nice kitchen area if you want to cook something simple. Bed was comfortable & extra pillows if wanted in wardrobe. Great communication & easy mobile entry via email "
