"Fantastic place to stay for the price. Room was big and beds were comfy. The free laundry was a blessing as we have a 10mknth old baby so was nice to be able to use that. Inly real down sides were car parking is very very tricky they are small and its a bit of a trick to get in and out. Also there was no heater or heating in the room for us to use. Otherwise would definitely stay again"

"I don't know how Expedia could list such a property on its website. The property is indicated as a backpacker establishment but it is more a boarding house for the down and out. The premises were filthy and unsanitary, the carpet was solid with dirt and sticky, the sheets had blood stains on them, there was rubbish and boxes lying everywhere in the common areas. I felt unsafe. When I told the proprietor that I wanted to leave she insisted on taking a cancellation fee. There was nothing else...

"The receptionist was very friendly and helpful. Our stay included breakfast which was great. The room itself was really nice with the small balcony looking over a marina being a lovely sunny spot to sit and relax in the afternoon. "

Only negative is shower over bath is cumbersome and dangerous. property is described on Hotels,com as having free parking. That is incorrect. There is no dedicated free parking. It is on the street and is taken early morning by businesses opposite the hotel in same street."
