"We stayed for 11 days while preparing and attending my fathers funeral. It qas the perfect retreat on the midst of an emotional week. The cavin was liveley with comfortable beds, a nice kitchen, and plenty of placez to hang out. We loved taking walks on the wood lined streets and watching many varieties of woodpeckers. It was a quiet neighborhood. I woukd definitely stay here again"

"Myself and two friends went for a two night stay and it couldn't have been better. The hosts were reasonable, practical with all their expectations and they were very responsive and kind during the planning stages and when we arrived. The house was well supplied with everything we needed. Unfortunately there was an outdoor burn ban in place due to drought, but the fire pit looked very comfortable and we even talked about coming back to enjoy it next year. "Quiet, secluded and peaceful. I loved the screened in porch for late night conversations and while It rained. The cabin was very spacious and the fire pit was perfect. The last renters left some items around like socks in a kayak renters left "

"A wonderful house with all the amenities you could ask for. Its secluded in the woods but also close enough to Hancock if you need supplies. A perfect getaway for friends, family, or anyone looking to get some relaxing in the woods. Very clean and the owners are quick to response if you need anything. 5 stars."

"A beautiful view from the balcony. Our teen kids and aunt loved this location. It was perfect for a quiet get away. The only negative was slow internet but it was good to get kids off their devices. We hope to rerun again. "

"Perfect getaway. The property was absolutely gorgeous. The house was completely stocked and clean. The river is a few steps out the door. It rained the entire time so we didnt fish much. The host susan went above and beyond. If you're looking to be off grid this is the place for you. We are already planning our next trip(we plan to stay a lot longer next time. "

"Loved everything about this place- perfect for a couples retreat or girls weekend away. Attention to detail in style and design throughout. The cabin is nestled in between trees and it’s very tranquil. Screened in porch with rocking chairs provides a nice place to take in the peace and quiet. Would definitely stay again! "

"This adorable cabin was perfect for our couples weekend away! Very clean, stocked with essentials (linens, cookware, utensils, etc) and spacious. The hot tub and fire pit were perfect to help unplug and relax. Tony was a phenomenal host, was quick to respond to any questions/concerns and made sure every part of our stay was satisfactory. Would definitely return or stay at other properties from this host. "

"We chose this listing use to celebrate our 25th wedding anniversary as it's stated it was private and the pictures were beautiful. When we arrived , we were not let down. High end touches and a lot of thought went into this retreat. It was peaceful, clean,comfortable. We did not use the upstairs bed and bath.But the downstairs king bed and rain shower were awesome. Hot tub and fire pit area were amazing"

"We stayed for my 50th birthday. It was the beginning of March and weather was decent but this place offered things to do in the cold or warmth. We enjoyed the fire pit outback and used the grill for dinner one night. The creek running behind us had the kids entertained too!"

"This cabin was perfect for our Fourth of July weekend. There’s a big pool, horseback riding, a big pond and creek for fishing and the cabin comes with a fire pit and grill. We brought our dog and cooked over the fire every night. The cabins and grounds are very clean and well kept. I would highly recommend this place!"

"The property location was perfect in the hills of West Virginia we had a great time at nearby Berkeley Springs went to Harpers Ferry but parking was non-existent and you had to ride a bus to get there which we didn't feel like we should do with covid concerns."

"What a great experience at Coolfont Resort! The staff was really great-helpful and friendly. The cabin was perfect for us. The only thing missing was a coffee cup. Just a mention...there is a lot of "empty space" in the cabin. It looks exactly like the pictures, had everything it said but I wonder if there would be room for a small couch or sitting chair and/or storage in the bathroom. Its spacious, clean, neat and comfortable the way it is but having just a little more might be great!"

"This was my 4th stay at this hotel and my family love it. The pool and Jacuzzi stays open until 11pm, it is close to many food options an very clean. The complementary breakfast is great. The staff is extremely polite "

"My fiancé and i had a wonderful time here. right in the heart of Berkley Springs, is is convenient to shopping, galleries and the famous hot springs. Tom was a 5-star host! He greeted us at the door, guided us to room and couldn't have been nicer, more friendly or professional. We both felt like family here. The room was elegant, with a gas fireplace, comfortable four-poster bed, and private bath. Breakfast was wonderful, off a patio where Tom grows some of the veggies that find their way into our omelets. Tom, it turns out it's also a great cook! The establishment has a lot of religious artifacts on display, part of a vast collection assembled by the previous owner, Maria who used the building for a restaurant. Tom and Marie, his wife took over after Maria couldn't run the restaurant and turned it into a B&B. I do recommend this property especially compared to the traditional chain hotels in the area that charge about the same price for a whole lot less ambience."
