"The title is how my wife and I described it once we got settled in, sitting on the bed and taking it in. Prior to that, we had met the owner and he was great. Happy, energetic (despite the biting cold), and polite. He walked us back and showed us around. He showed us the backyard briefly (cold) and it was beautiful, night and day. "Gordon and Linda were fantastic hosts. Very friendly and accomodating. The room and bathroom were very clean and orderly. The house is full of interesting antiques and stories on every one. Breakfasts were wonderful and well presented. We definetly would love to stay here again."

"This place is an amazing house. The stories around it, and the history of the area are almost unbelievable. The house was not the greatest physical facility and was somewhat messy, but far outweighed by the location and stories of the host. Search Comstock rock online you can get an idea of the many people who have stayed there over the last 30 years."

"Our room was so comfortable and homey! We slept better than in our own beds at home. Everything was perfectly to our liking. Breakfast was wonderful as well as was the company and the owner of the residence was a delight. The only word I can use to sum up the whole thing is charming. We plan to be back."
