"It was an amazing experience to stay here. My family and I were all very comfortable, breakfast was amazing and the inn-keeper Laura is so friendly and kind. "
"Absolutely loved this beautiful restored old world home! We could walk around and look at the amazing Victorian interior and furnishings for days. Peter was an amazing host and we hope to come back to visit some day. "

Take time to see the sights. The Latter Day Saints Church has a lot of history in the area and the old buildings are a great way to share in it. I was impressed with the visitors center!

Would recommend getting a few groceries before coming into town. There are limited dining options especially this time of year. Our overall experience was wonderful! People there are kind and helpful.

Religious/historic attractions were very nice. By contrast, the neighboring commercial district along Mulholland Street seems to have hit on hard times

5 Minutes to Downtown Nauvoo - Great Spot for Young Families - Some Stairs
10/10 Excellent
"Close to downtown Nauvoo, easy drive to historic sites. Fairly well stocked. Plenty of space. One suggestion: stock a few plastic dishes for families with young children. We would stay here again!"
"Our family of 7 stayed very comfortably here for 6 nights, and would absolutely do it again! There's plenty of space to spread out but also ample space to gather together. The AC units in the bedrooms worked beautifully! My daughters loved the gabled children's room. I was worried that only one bathroom might be an issue with 7 of us, but the bathroom was spacious and it worked out great! The home itself was so charming, we loved the pioneer character. Everything was clean and well stocked, and it was a wonderful stay!! Communication with the hosts was easy, efficient, and they were so quickly responsive! "
A four bedroom hobbit hole style home five minutes from historic Nauvoo Illinois
10/10 Excellent
"My family loved our stay at the hobbit hole. The details on the home were incredible. My kids loved dressing up and using the curtains to put on shows. The location was great as well. We had timely responses from the owner and the house was supplied well. "
Newly Renovated Full Family Apt. - Centrally Located in Nauvoo - some stairs
10/10 Excellent
"Great location for Nauvoo. Near historic places, temple, main shopping areas. Great communication with host. He promptly answered our texts and quickly addressed any concerns. We appreciated having 3 large beds in the home plus a sofa bed. The property itself is older, but the house inside is updated. I was concerned about the ceiling fan being too close to the upper bunk bed, so we just didn't use the ceiling fan, but it wasn't needed since several AC units in the apartment kept the house very cool on hot summer days. I would suggest replacing the ceiling fan with a normal light fixture for safety and switching to a brighter light bulb in the master bedroom. Kitchen is nice. Unit is on top floor, so you need to climb stairs to get to the apartment. We enjoyed watching the fireflies from the upper balcony at night. Place looked just like the pictures. We would stay here again."
