"The first thing I noticed when I walked in was how clean the place smelled, obviously the cleaning people had come there just before I arrived. For me, the place was perfect. It’s a one room and bathroom with a refrigerator and a microwave and TV on the wall. I booked a whole home on Green Island with a jacuzzi exactly what it says & I ended up in a 2 flight walk up basic room, the host didn't even speak English or get back in touch with me even though I texted him & told him I didn't speak Spanish. He didn't communicate with me for 3 days since I arrived until I told him that I wanted a full refund!!"

"This apartment was clean and convenient to the airport. It is as portrayed in the photos. The bed is okay and the bathroom features the world’s smallest sink. The one caution I must add is that the building is concrete and all sounds from the adjoining apartments are greatly amplified. This is due to no fault of the owner. Neighbors stayed up late talking and others woke at 4:40 am, coughing and talking, at what was probably normal volume but was magnified in the building. I had to use a white...

"Well appointed house. Terrific location 2 blocks from the main beach (which was beautiful).Inside Ocean Park, which is a gated neighborhood which has limited access from 6pm to 6am. A mild inconvenience, but probably worth it.A couple of nits: mattresses need to be replaced, so if you have a bad back (like me) then a potential concern. We experienced PR's recent island wide blackout (2 days). Generator works so no issues with power at the house. But it's loud and there is minimal sound...

"Our stay at this property was wonderful!! It was the perfect size for our group. We had a very short walk to the beach and also had no problems with driving or ubering. "My husband and I greatly enjoyed our stay at Hugo’s. Maricruz was incredibly helpful and informative. The place was in a great location close to everything. My husband wanted something different from the traditional hotel stay and this was it. We would definitely stay here again!"

Amazing stay!

"We loved this hotel for our honeymoon! The pools and beach setups are amazing- very good service from setting up chairs and serving food/drinks. The lobby bars and casino are fun at night, it’s very lively on the weekend! We ate at the beach club and Cana and really enjoyed everything we had. I agree with other reviewers that the rooms could use an update. The hotel also touts its eco friendliness but doesn’t have anywhere collecting compostable material (so they just go to the regular garbage). "

Residence Inn by Marriott San Juan Isla Verde

5/5 Excellent

"Great property in nice location, beautiful Isla Verde beach nearby (nicer than Condado Beach). Pool was nicer and bigger than expected. Room was new and spacious — no complaints! Only minor caution is that while they have free beach chairs to loan you, you have to carry to the beach which can be a pain. We opted to just use the beach towels on the sand to save carrying around the beach chairs in the heat. Great property despite this! "

"A block off the beach! Hotel facilities good, clean, kinda what you would expect, No bad surprises. The beach is beautiful, with an area for the hotel’s guests. There is an awesome chocolate shop just off hotel’s lobby. I’ll be back to stay at Condado Palm in autumn. A "
