"The location was great for us. Supermarket nearby, and within walking distance to Katamachi for restaurants & bars.The host met us and explained a bit about the apartment. There were easy-to-understand printed instructions in both in English and Japanese for the appliances and other amenities. The host arranged for a parking spot behind the building for our entire stay. Well worth what we paid for our stay in Kanazawa. We would love to stay here again in the future."

But directions to enter the room not very clear and it took us some time to enter the room. "The room was great, well lit, very large, easy walk with luggage from the train station. We were placed in an annex. Maybe the actual hotel is better. There are 2 flights of narrow steep stairs. No elevator, this was very difficult carrying luggage up. There was another room in the annex which you share the kitchen and toilet with those tenants. You do get your own shower, which is private, but its in the same room. You share the vanity, mirror, there are 3 sinks and you get your own blow dryer....

"Comfortable Stay with Great Amenities in Kanazawa Our stay at Mitsui Garden Hotel Kanazawa was wonderful, and we’d love to return for a longer visit next time! The hotel was clean, modern, and well-equipped, with spacious rooms (by Japan standards), “western style” bathrooms, and thoughtful amenities, including a full set of toiletries. They also have make and female onsens (public bathhouse), and offers baggage transport assistance, which was incredibly convenient for onward travel. The on-site shabu-shabu restaurant and breakfast buffet were excellent, but dinner reservations are highly recommended as the restaurant fills up quickly. While they serve alcohol, note that the hotel does not have a dedicated bar. Overall, a comfortable and well-located stay with helpful staff and excellent facilities—perfect for travelers wanting both convenience and relaxation in Kanazawa!"

"We stayed in a standard double room with a queen size bed, room is spacious, modern and clean. Toilet is in a separate room, the shower/tub is in a good size room; both are clean. Hotel offers private spa based on availability which is nice for couples and young families. 10 minutes walk to Takayama JR station and 15 minutes walk to the old town."
