"Check in was ok although a long line with only 2 ppl in front desk. It was prepaid w/double breakfast but the next day the breakfast site could not find my record so the bill was sent to my room. Later then I received a call from front desk to ask how to pay the room fee etc. I replied it was prepaid and then I sent my receipt to front desk, then front desk said they need to verify with if I need to pay or not with financial dept to check if they receive fund or not. No information was replied...

"The hotel is far from any facilities except for those going to the International Horticulture Exhibition 2019 Beijing which will end on 7 Oct 2019. The buffet breakfast spread at US$35 leaves much to be desired. The bottle of orange juice on 12 Oct was empty. I asked the staff twice but it was not refilled."

Also the food was good but restaurant would close to early and not provide room service even though in the room they advertise it."

"House was perfect to suit our needs of traveling with three families. Lots of space and well equipped and stocked with everything one might need. Host was timely and thorough in her communication, and even helped to arrange food delivery and transportation. Proximity to ski resort was excellent as well. Will definitely be back!"

"It’s a holiday inn so you know what you’re getting. The room wasn’t so bad, nice bathrooms and not many options in that area for foreigners. My issue is they were doing construction and it wasn’t mentioned when I booked. One of the days they shut off the power while I was in the building. "I booked a deluxe sing big bed room. But what I stayed was a room without windows and bad smell in the room. Apart from this, the restaurant in the hotel was not open to the guests during the lunch time. The reason was that they were entertaining a delegation. This is ridicules. "

"The room was nice. Wifi worked at times in the room but overall, it was okay. The hotel was nice but it needs to be remodeled. The location is very remote and can be hard to find. The closest subway station is 22 minutes away by foot. It was inconvenient to request a taxi to take me to the subway because, according to one of the duty managers, it wasn't enough money for them. "Nice hotel for the price. Clean, well sized rooms. Breakfast has a nice selection of chinese and western foods. One thing to note, but it is a reflection of chinese culture, not a criticism of the Hotel directly, there are no atms in the Hotel or vicinity. Most things in China are paid by WeChat through phone payments. Cash isn’t common, so isn’t alwats easy to get. Part of the issue is that there is nothing near the hotel and I mean nothing. "

Convenient location

"Convenient location. Near malls and near the Beijing subway. This is my 3rd time staying at Crown Plaza Zhongguancun. The staff are polite and converse well in English. Hotel isn’t modern but is decent in its amenities. Great gym and overall happy with my stay. Pillow can be a little bit more fluffed up. I found it a little flat. "

"CONS: The room was not very clean. The bathroom fixtures were broken and their was mildew all over the shower. We found random small bugs in the room on 2 or 3 counts. The walls have cracks and damage. Staff were also not super friendly. No one ever smiles at this hotel. PROS: very comfortable bed. Room is very quiet and black out blinds work great. Central location close to shopping and the university. Hotel and surrounding area felt very safe even at night."
