"Walkable distance from Nagoya station and various day tour pick up spots. The room was clean and big. I had a deep soaking tub. The hotel staff were polite and helpful. They helped me called my next hotel to check if they are able to receive and hold my luggage. Unfortunately i forgotten to take photos. The photos in hotels.com does not do the room justice. The room look bigger and in real life. One thing to note, the hotel only has 3 levels with washing machine, you may need to wash your clothes at odd hours as there are not enough to go around."

"The Nagoya JR Gate Tower hotel is most centrally located to public transportation: JR rail lines, local train lines, Shinkansen, public buses, taxis. Shopping & dining options are just 2 floors down below the 15th floor hotel lobby, with a very nice convenient Mart & a pharmacy on the same floor. The hotel is very clean & well maintained. All staffs work really hard to welcome & serve guests. Mr. Fukunishi helped me check in so graciously. Breakfasts at the hotel’s Gatehouse restaurant (a beautiful restaurant) are so fresh & delicious. It is a real delight to stay here! "

"5 minutes walking to subway at Internation center. 7 minutes walking to bullet train station. Hotel is attached to Lawson and the underground access U12 to uni mall is right in front of hotel. Unimall can connect to Nagoya station. Plenty of restaurants around the hotel. Staff is helpful, can help travelers to ship luggage via yamato transport. Price is really good, in my case. The hotel is a bit old, and they are doing renovation on top two floor when i stay there at end of February. "
